Pharma Isolates Gene Aiding Drug Dependency

Pharma in Taiwan has identified a gene map that scientists believe may isolate the gene pattern of cells that contribute to drug dependency in a certain class of people. The unpublished results of an independent Research and Development firms have yet to be made public pending final clinical studies.

The findings may be a breakthrough in discovering the molecular attributes that cause a select group of drug users to become addicted while others within the same control group using the same amount of drugs for the same length of time never develop any history of long term drug dependency.
